Removing previous reviews

Now I know little about the review rules but I thought when submitting a second or subsequent positive review of the same escort you could copy and paste the previous review so there is a history. I like seeing how things progress when reviewers go to the trouble of submitting another review. Important things like has she changed from the first meeting, are things even more intense, does it keep getting better.....

I see from Benin's latest review of Ciara that he copied the previous review, but it was removed. Is this the current rule, you are not allowed do this.

I know you are allowed submit a positive and negative in respect of the same girl if that is your experience.
Personally I think reviewers should be allowed submit subsequent reviews for the same girls, say if a certain time frame has elapsed. They are not counted in numbers of reviews or escort of the month so to me it is just a stupid rule and discourages reviewers.....Good on you anyway Benny, surprised you tear yourself away from those floats

I think i saw something different before that customer wrote review, and then after he visited her again he just added comment to the old review. That way the old review stayed. Can't provide link coz dont remember in what review I saw it

Hey MrFussy thanks for your thread.

Basically the way Benny’s latest review of Ciara was Benny had copied and pasted his previous review of his appointment with Ciara and pasted it at the bottom of his latest one.

I took the decision to remove that as I thought by doing that it was no different than allowing his previous review to remain.

The removal of all clients pervious reviews of the same escort by whatever means was decided upon by the managers. So under the circumstances that was the decision I made.

Hope you understand where I was coming from.

I can see the logic to removing previous reviews of a lady by a Client as it distorts the popularity of the lady in relation to the number of reviews she has as opposed to the number of satisfied customers ( or not ). However, I cannot see the point of not allowing the content of the previous views to be available. A Clients opinion as developed over a number of visits and a period of time tells a lot more than a single one off review. I would even go so far as to say that the previous reviews should stay by default so that the rest of us can see how things were and now are, where's the harm?

One of my problems with this is either there is a rule that says you are not allowed to cut and paste previous reviews or you are not. No need for any decision. I have copied and pasted reviews previously with no deleting by you or Highway. If people go to the trouble of posting reviews they should remain unless the escort opts out for safety reasons. The practice of deleting older reviews ie a new one is submitted is ridiculous. Yes it could be abused to promote a favorite etc. But this coule easily be addressed by introducing a time limit, number of times you can review same lady etc. There are numerous ways to control and mod subsequent reviews, is deleting the way forward, I just think this practice should be reviewed...pardon the pun

I can't remember the whole reasoning behind changing the review system, all I do know is when it was decided to limit the amount of reviews a poster could leave there were several threads on the subject, most felt that 3 reviews was a good number, a couple of polls showed that, the 3 review rule was introduced but quickly scrubbed in replace of the current 1 rule system we have today.
Mr F is correct in saying at the time people were advised by the then review mod Ninebythree, Luther and I think Patricia that they could copy and paste their old review into the new one if the wished. Here's a couple of threads if you want to refresh your memory:

Thx Anon, I have certainly cut and pasted fairly previous reviews recently, if there is a rule to say that this is no longer allowed, fine I'll accept that and challenge when I study them..actually, where are the review rules?
