Independent or Agency ?? I have the right to know.

I've just spotted an escort that I've seen appear on a list of linked profiles on another site.
This pisses me off greatly.
I'm a pretty careful punter and research as much as I can.

If a girl is working for an agency. I WANT TO KNOW.
I want to know if I'm walking into a brothel.

Now I know there are plenty of escorts who have links with other escorts, either by doing Duos or sharing Apts.
But when there is such a large group of escorts linked in such a way 25 profiles, there is no other word to describe it. It's an Agency.

Now I'm not getting into a rant about if Agencies are good or bad. I'm not talking about Pimps or trafficking.

I'm questioning how these profiles are allowed to advertise as Independent.
Something needs to change.

I think the site cannot just pass this off as the girls may have shared an Apt, or just used the same photography studio.

Now I'm not saying I have an answer to this, but I believe by allowing an escort to advertise as Independent, Escort Ireland are as such Verifying that the escort is Independent.
Or why bother having any differentiation.

I really think some verification process needs to be put in place, so the term Independent is not just applied to every new profile.
How to do this ? As I said, I don't know exactly but maybe we can discuss it here. Without everyone coming out with guns a blazing. Maybe we can post any constructive ideas here.

It can certainly be a pointer.

Maybe we need three different sections ?
1. Verified Independent Escort. - Where the escort has requested a thourough background check, maybe on the public forum where anyone can do whatever checking they want to do and if there is nothing found within a certain timeframe they have then passed verification.
2. Independent Escort. - Where an escort states she is independent. As is really.
3. Agency Escort. - As is.

Many of us punters would be horrified to know a girl is being coerced at any level.

True, we have turned a blind eye in the past if we didn't know for sure.

But I think the attitude is changing for the better.

You have to hit pimps and sites and unfortunately some of the girls along the way, where it hurts. In the pocket!

As I've previously stated, I'm not visiting any more young foreign girls from this site until some radical changes are made to make a proper judgement on independence.

If TORL are paying attention, legalise prostitution, allow 3 escorts to live/work together and come up with some system which truly allows girls to deal with the authorities regarding fears and threats they may have to deal with with when trying to work independently.

We don't have to follow the swedes or anyone else.

There's a chance to come up with a model here that shows initiative and understanding of human nature.

This site is tarnished with speculation about it's ownership but skilfully sidesteps the questions.

If EI can show some effort here perform some genuine validation of real independent escorts, those accusations will have less validity and the past can be left where it belongs.

None of our hands are clean here.

So do something now. These threads are taking on a momentum and won't go away until something positive and effective is done.

If i need to see someone, which i do occasionally, and I have no moral qualms about in itself, it will be someone I know well or a mature escort.

Warmcome, I doubt any of us would expect the general populous to approve of prostitution, but I would imagine that if E-I were seen to be verifying genuine Independent Escorts this would certainly help the TOTBL campaign.
