I stand corrected! You've obviously been on the bleeding edge of the tech knife for a long time!

Funny I remember when the mobiles were first being introduced, you'd be embarrassed to talk on it in the street for fear of being called a yuppie ponce wanker..how times have changed
Always remember something that happened just after Digiphone launched ( although Eircell had been on the go for a while, only a handful of people still had mobiles)- I had a work Eircell & got a personal Digiphone ( long story- no, it wasn't a punting phone haha)..anyhow I was in a somewhat less salubrious part of town & my Digiphone rings.. I answer.. but 5 secs later the Eircell goes off & of course it's my boss so I have to answer.. I had two phones on the go, like the John Wayne of the mobile wild west- you'd want to have seen the looks I got from the natives LOL

Got me thinking back to my first one.
It was a Sony Ericsson Kit Kat I think the network was 088 at the time.
It was pretty small for the time, late 80s.

you must really been ahead of the times
you had a phone in the late 80's that was only released in 1994

The pile of rubbish that was the Nokia 7110e. Went through 3 of these things, with the slider thing constantly breaking.
