Was just looking at a few of those 20 or 50 or whatever things to do before you die etc. Alot of them are pretty stupid I think. What have you done in your life that has given you a real thrill or were you felt alive or that has blown your mind or just made you happy, that you would advise others to do?

I'll start

jumping out out of a plane at 12,000 feet. it was the greatest thrill of my life, better than sex.

Like yourself Paul, I jumped from a plane at 8500 ft, didn't have a parachute....but a man with a parachute....I was broadcasting live at the time so added to the thrill. I will never forget that sense of nothing above or below me. That and visiting helping clear up after deadly mudslides in Brazil, the two things that let me know I am alive.

1: abseiled down the front of the Europa hotel for charity.
2: snow skied in Australia.
3: had a go in a group A rally car.
4: jet skied at st. Tropez (even tho I cant swim!)
5: fired an AK47 in Thailand.
6: watched a basketball game at madison sq gardens NY on boxing.
7: ice skated on central park NY. Same holiday.
8: shook the hand of Henrik Larsson while standing on Parkhead pitch.
9: wet bungee jump in new Zealand.
10: Croke park in 93 with Doire!

Important to me but laughable to others probably! Lol!

Watched a show about Mallory climbing Mount Everest lately, frostbite, no oxygen, altitude sickness, you'd be a braver man than me!

One of the best experiences I had was being at Kennedy Space Centre during a shuttle launch.
An amazing sight.
Attended Dayton 500 which was also amazing. Watching 43 stock cars (Nascar) going past you at 200mph. Wow!
One regret is never getting to see Concorde fly.
