    my greatest is eric cantona...and tendulkar is just special.

    Won't agree with you 100% but Cantona was one of the best. In football, for me would me Maradona.

    in football for me it was george best ...i was replying to the question though (cantona is my greatest sportsman)

    My choice Joey Dunlop not just a great sportsman but a gentleman and I can't forget Paul mc Grath a true Irish legend.

    Greatest sportsman for me I think is Federer. Not only he was on top of the game for a long time but outside of the courts, he is doing some good work for unfortunate children in South Africa, I'm not saying others don't do this.

    I don’t care what any mathematical crap calculates not only is this man the greatest living sportsman that has ever lived he’s also one of the greatest human beings that has ever lived, he’s the greatest of all times there will never be another man like him, he is of course Muhammad Ali.



    Every time I watch him knock out George Foreman in the 8th round in ‘The Rumble In The Jungle’ I almost cry when I see him back then compared to the man he is now and no wonder when you see the type of punishment he took in some of the greatest fights ever.
