No - It's not that important, it's very easy to get a general idea of what the lady looks anyway even with a blurred face. I've never seen an escorts face prior to meeting them and I've never been disappointed. In fact, it heightens the anticipation!

The limited people could still be friends. family, neighbours, landlord. It's not amount the number of people who get to see your face, it's the wider implications of what will happen if your face is visible. It may seem selfish & inconvenient, but I still want some privacy in my personal, private life when I'm not working.
