I love Dublin, as much as I love to get away and travel the world, I also am happy to come home. sure the weather could be a little bit warmer in the summer, but who the feck wants to live where it 40C every fecking day. It's grand for a holiday, but when you have to live and work in it day in day out. No thanks. and apart from last December our winters are nearly the same as our summer :-)

we're a bunch of moaning bastards but sure we're great craic too.

Orla a fecking surgeon. good luck with that. hope it goes well for you. you brain box.
Thank you all the ladies I had pleasure of meeting. Forever grateful for the memories

I've lived in ireland now for about 15 years. Longer than I've ever been anywhere else. It's home and in my current circumstances I don't see myself leaving. However, never say never. A change of circumstance could see me globetrotting again.
Retired from punting, yet still here?

I would love to live somewhere else, and that's my sole goal at the moment.

In saying that, I do adore the Irish humour. Where else could you tell someone to "fuck off" or call them a "hoor" and nobody takes offence? Haha! That's one of many things I like, but I do yearn to spend my time elsewhere. Sure what would life be without a bit of adventure?

This time next year: Bye bye Dublin!

Born and brought up in Ireland, proud Irishman but not sure I will spend the rest of my life here. Would love the funds to travel the world and experience new cultures. I have no issue where I live as long as I can be happy and make those I meet happy too.

I'm with you there Doodlebug! Really want to travel and will if I can ever get the finances right! But of course time is running out too!

used to love ireland but have become so disillusioned with our leadership and people in general. is it just me or does every town in ireland just seem to be populated by scumbags who litter and allow their dogs crap everywhere. people have no standards any more.
if i won the lotto would move to switzerland or france.

I am Irish and proud of it. Have lived abroad on a few occasions but kept coming back. The big drawback is the bloody rain but you know the saying ..... The grass is always greener on the other side
