You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

Very interesting and stimulating. I suspect we will see a difference in policing over the coming months as the current government will be looking for "positive" statistics outside of the economy!!!!

Interesting how it's mostly women convicted of this too.
Very interesting reading and the fact that women brothel keeper are also sex workers it looks like they want women to work on there own which leads to very little protection.

Just wondering did EI get a mention ?
a thousand kisses deep..
Excellent piece... I just hope it is written objectively and is not bias to Sex Workers.
This article highlights for me the possible frustrations of those working in the sex industry of their own free will. The gardai and especially Ruhama are putting forward ridiculous claims of trafficking and forced prostitution whereas this article shows that barely any conviction supports this claim. 99% of so called brothel keepers turn out to be just like our lovely ladies here working of their own free will. This makes my blood boil toward Ruhama and its claims.
There is NO conviction to date of escorts being trafficked into Ireland for the purpose of prostitution. Haw can Ruhama continue their campaign with such outstanding evidence against it… I beggars belief..
Here is an interesting article in today’s Examiner…
