How important is the forum to E-I?

The forums are vital. Think of the amount of guests that read the forums. In any one day there us at least one thread of interesting and sometimes crucial information to the serious or habitual punter. I was a lurker for years gaining invaluable advice and tips. It also helps to educate the casual punter to respect the gals and maybe to wash yer mickey. It helps to reassure the nervous first timer to take the Plunge and go out there and meet that honey that may well change his life.

And all this may be done with out posting a 'lol'

I can remember when I started here I thought that all this was too good to be true but by reading a few threads I realised a dream ... I think Morph was really asking about the financial benefit, if any to E1, rather than the need for a 'democratic' forum. I presume originally E1 expected far more Escorts to take advantage of the message board/forum than they do and was meant to be an incentive to them rather than to us none paying punters

How does a site like Ei generate money? By charging escorts to advertise. Why do escorts advertise on |EI? becasue it has a high traffic volume. Why does it have a high traffic volume? because it has a forum, chat, blogs and of course the Adevertising escorts,

So EI doesnt have a forum to be nice... with out it the traffic wouldnt be as high and therefore the advertising wouldnt be as high either.

I disagree. Escorts would advertise, clients would look at ads. Punternet closed its boards for a long time. Number of clients never wavered.
