    w = mean walking speed
    c = Ciara

    And

    e = eagerness to see Ciara.

    QED....
    the velocity of the train can't be classed as constant for this experiment, due to the curvature of the earth it isn't technically traveling in a straight line

    that would depend on the length of the journey...and id imagine the track could be left down in a straight line fairly simple if its a short journey.....what ya recon?

    as the whole earth is curved then technically no, if it's on the ground following the curvature, then that would mean the train is accelerating as the velocity is constantly changing. Now if the track engineers were to take the curvature into account then I suppose it might work

    so your saying a track could not be left down on earth in a straight line.... make me wonder what a spirit level is for.... jeysus you would imagine they could lay a track level by digging at times and perhaps filling in at other times..what ya recon?

    is that not what I said in my last sentence "if the track engineers were to take the curvature into account then I suppose it might work"

    that's because I didn't I said if you took certain things into consideration then maybe what you said may hold true, but that is only if you include them as opposed to jumping to conclusions. As other posters pointed out there are way to many variables to answer the OP's qestion
