Default Just a bit of fun, or in bad taste?

The F.A. has lodged a complaint with The Sun newspaper after this front page headline.

Was it just a bit of fun, or poor judgement on The Suns' part? What do you think?

Bang out of order. I'm not totally politically correct, but this is more symptomatic of them trying to make him a laughing stock due to their mate Harry not getting the job.

There are a lot of people who have speech impediments, and the major national paper mocking the affliction is terrible.

Saying that, did you expect and better from the 'Scum'?

Haven't the media always taken the micky out of Johnathon Ross and his speech impedement? It's never stopped him being a well respected presenter or in fact one of the highest paid.

If that is the best they can do, then I would say it is pretty lame and most people will see it as that. I don't think it would do any harm to the person in question and if he is good at his job he will rise above it and continue to gain respect for the work he does.

I'm talking from a totally unbiased point of view by the way, I don't do sport.

Fair point Kate...but it has to be put in the context that most English fans (wrongly) don't want him as boss. The way the press attack England managers is awful...and they are already trying to make his job untenable with front pages like this.

    Goebbels would have been proud.

Good luck to Roy, a good man.

Totally agree Kate some people need to lighten up there are worse things going on in the world, 72 complaints to the watchdog and not one of them from a person with a speech impediment, enough said.
