What about those who start taking drugs whilst they are still children? Are they to blame? Can a 9 yr old make a conscious decision to be a drug abuser or not?

Exactly. But social problems exist. Drugs are often a result of that.
Children don't have to run around the streets to be introduced to drugs. Many are introduced in schools.

Well I would certainly have to think about whether to continue with the job if the risks increased. Making it illegal to procure sex would not, by itself, as a factor, make me give up the job.
I didn't say people shouldn't use illegal drugs though, did I. If they are an adult, it is their choice. I'm not a fascist.

I am very anti drugs, however I see no reason whatsoever for marijuana to remain illegal. Alcohol is worse, yet is perfectly legal. As for heroin, coke, etc - you have to be a serious idiot or weak person to start using them imo.

I often hear this but have never seen any evidence or studies of alcohol vs marijuana. Can you show how alcohol is worse and how the comparisons were made?

I can only go on my own experiences with both, however I am sure if you google it you will find those studies. For me alcohol has a much stronger effect than that of marijuana.
