    Get a reliable diesel, VW or Audi. BMW your are only paying for the name.

    My preference would be the Volvo S60 T5 of those 2. I've a Golf at the minute, but sometimes wish I'd gone for the Scirocco.

    CBG, it's your money to buy whatever you want. But a car in my opinion is to get you from A to B,reliable and hassle free. Although there is not much interest in banks, can you resists the temptation of holding on to the cash?

    I need a new car, existing one beginning to cause problems so it would be cheaper to get a new one, no issues with the bank, loan already pre approved :-)
