Sent by accident?

About 8 years ago my girlfriend went to college in Limerick and I went to college in Dublin. She was up visiting me for the weekend and on the Sunday we had a small "difference of opinion" over something. We kind of half made up and then she got her train to limerick. Once she got on the train I sent a text to one of my mates along the lines of "Fuckin women, man, I'll never understand them" and yes, sent it to her by mistake.

I knew her mobile was dead so she didn't get it right away. I jumped on the next available bus to Limerick, about an hour behind her. That bus journey was the longest trip of my life - staring at the phone begging the delivery report not to come back to me.

I got the report as I was getting off the bus and legged it to her house. I rang her from outside her front door and begged forgiveness
