    I dont think it mattered who was in office...more to do with the recession and the fact that NASA dont have anything at the moment to replace the shuttle...and it looks like they will have to pay private companies to shuttle their astronauts back and forth to the ISS..so perhaps this is the beginning of the end for NASA..

    It'll cost them 50 million a pop,to send one astronout, to space, using the Russian space craft.
