The things I value in life are my family and friends, my job, some degree of financial security (in dire danger of evaporating) and physical health.
But of things you've listed Christine, I'd have to rate them as follows:
1) Money
2) Career
3) Sex
I do have job satisfaction and am very career focussed, but if it didn't pay the bills, I'd have to find any job that would.
Given the current financial crisis - financial security is something that has become a holy grail and therefore all the more desirable.
As for sex - well if I didn't have money, I wouldn't be able to see the lovely ladies on this site. And there's absolutely no other way that I'd be getting any sex.
As for love, I presume you mean romantic love (rather than love for family and friends). It's great to be in love. Have been there and it's wonderful. Unfortunately it's not one of those things you can control or predict. So it's not on my list at present because I'm not in love and don't think it's one of those things that you can seek. I believe it's one of those things that happens.
Quite unlike money and career - which are more tangible and possible to work for. And as for sex.....wel thank God for E-I!!!!

It's a tough one for me, but I'd have to say love and money are of equal importance to me. To give and receive love feeds the soul and makes you feel alive and part of something, but I'm also a very practical realist and having money - enough of it to provide for your own and your families well being and comfort - is just as important to keeping me in a sound state as love would be.

Retired from punting, yet still here?
