Folks, Has anyone considered that Alec is in a small (I emphasis SMALL WAY) way correct, There is a small proportion of those on welfare in this country that are abusing the system and in some cases having things easier than those of us that are working.

On the other hand the vast majority of those on welfare are NOT there by choice and are working harder than some working people to get gainful employment, There are people struggling to keep a roof over their families heads while searching for work 7 days a week and then there are (Again the small minority) that are abusing the system and able to afford holidays every year, Cars and out drinking in the pub each night.

I am NOT Condoning Alec's statements as he is 'Taring them all with the same brush' but felt it needed to be said that he is in a small way correct.
