We can't have multiple user names ? Nope, sorry fuck that. If Rules are rules how come we currently have a recently banned member with a new profile name that was welcomed back to the forum by two mods ? Not two members I might add but two mods !! Come on guys, if rules are supposed to exist surely the mods should lead by example ? Sorry, I love this place and have looked at that unmoderated kip across the road and I do not want to end up there. So come on managers and mods, time to restructure ? Remodel ? Look at the rules again ? I wanted to change my name a while ago, would it have really caused that much grief to do ?

I am not aware of the arguments for or against in this thread, but feel the long term solution would be that upon registration the user is given an admin serial number, unpublished on the site but that is the reference for all posts etc from an admin point of view, then the username can be changed with ease but admin can follow the user throughout as the reference is a unique number or other identifier that is not visible to other users. I would think in these technologically advanced days this is a relatively simple process and should not cost any money. I expect there are advantages from an admin point of view too.

Just a thought and a suggestion.

If somebody who contributes a great deal to the site feels they are at risk of being exposed then each case should be looked at individually rather than having a sweeping rule that is set in stone.

Mark444 does indeed contribute a lot and as he's never been one to stir up any kind of trouble (not that I've read every one of his posts but this is a true Gentleman we're talking about here) I can't understand why he should be treated in such a poor way. The fact that he even offered to pay for the time it takes to change his name says it all.

I'm quite sure that every lady who's had the pleasure to meet Mark444 would vouch for him when I say he is a genuinely great client. One who respects ladies completely and would never cause any sort of bother. His reasons are all above board.

Please EI, a little bit of understanding would go a long way here. He didn't know that he's get so involved in the site - posting so much and reviewing so regularly so didn't give as much thought to his name as he might have. Who knows, he could simply move over to another site and register a better thought out name there. I for one would hate to see him leave here which is something that could very easily happen.

Very few people will apply for a username change and it would be done with the knowledge and consent of E-I. These changes will be known to E-I and therefore there will be no 'abuse' by these members ie. dissing of escorts previously reviewed.

Management will always know the identity of the owner of the new username . If there are those who are currently abusing the system by secretly having 2 usernames -- well those people will just continue to abuse but they will not cause any ' new ' problem

Doozer it has a lot to do with the character of Mark. I don't think that the word is can't. Wont is more likely. I can sympathise that you may well be flooded with requests for people to change their usernames if you allow this to happen in this case but a member in good standing with good reason to change his/her name should be allowed a bit of flexibility.

Come on now, don't be a big meanie lol. I would hate to see Mark stop taking part in any of the activities: Posting, reviewing and spending time with the ladies. This could well happen if he is rumbled by people who know him and would be totally unfair

I dont ,make the rules here Alex I just enforce them. We have heard Mark is great etc and so this decesion has nothing to do with his standing here. I can understand both sides and I sympathise with Mark but I think Sam made it clear that this wont be happening

Totally agree with Alex here. Come on E-I this rule needs to be changed to allow such instances where a gent’s identity could be compromised. Sorry but to allow a second profile for the purposes of posting in the comedy section and not for cases where a gent's identity could be compromised or exposed is a joke within itself.

I understand the reasons given for not allowing such changes but some flexibility is needed here, the rules don't make any sense. We ladies are given the option to change our names understandably for safety reasons and I think that the same should be afforded to the gents too ONLY in very extenuating circumstances and this is one.

I can vouch for Mark that he is a true gent.
