Not in one currently. But know one girl who is staying in a relationship she's not happy in because she is scared what people will think if she leaves. No kids involved, but even if ther was I tell her if she's not happy she should leave. Think there is still a stigma attached the seperation in this country

Ballox there's always life outside an unhappy relationship just walk but it takes guts and detarmation the first steps are all ways the hardest but it does work out for the best.

Some couples are getting used to each other and find it hard to break or accept what was going to say on behalf of others around them, endure for the sake of children

I know that and I have said it many times..but think she might be holding out hope of fixing the problem....she'd never admit it though and not really happy to push her to leave the relationship.

Unfortunately, through personal experience, I know its a cliche but its true, lifes to short and unpredictable to be unhappy.
Unrelated to that statement I was in a relationship for a long time which ended, and yes it was difficult to begin with, you tend to drag along the bottom for awhile but you realise your happier than you were before. Eventually you wake up and think this is great, happy in my own company, a few good friends and if i want to see a beautiful naked woman, theres the good ladies of E1
Come in she said "I'll give you shelter from the storm "

Right I don't know what to say here I'm married a long time and have kids they are very very happy it's the other half is stressed to the gills a fabulous person and a wonderful mother and I do think loves me to bits and deep down I do too. So the question is what the fuck am I doing here I have my reasons there is always a reason I'm not going into it but I'm a man were dogs if you argue with your wife big time you don't make up but she lies down on the bed you'll go for it cos that's the way we are were dogs chasing the tail ... I don't want to be single I have a comfort zone around me and I ain't going to give it up so I see escorts to get the blood going a bit of naughty a buzz a relief from the norm with no emotional shite you just close the door and walk away. Now if I'm caught it's lights out but I'm not going to get caught ( hopefully ) so to answer the question I ain't leaving I'm going to get this out of my system and live a long life and in 20 years I'll remember the fun I've had and go home.

Children are always a fear, but I think for many it as much monetary as anything else, giving up half your home and maybe more.I walked from a marriage within the past three years, because I was unhappy. I didn't see someone else nor did she, but we both knew I was unhappy. I am lucky she didn't make it difficult, we are good friends and have children so we stay friends. Not afraid of being alone anymore and generally more happy. Haven't walked away from my responsibilities, and never will. Took about three years to pluck up the courage, but glad I did and can see so many others who should but are afraid to.

I am quite surprised to see lots of posts about breaking up but not one about marriage counselling. Do you guys not have that service in Ireland?
Relationships are not easy. A little help and some insight into them can be a marvellous thing.
