Count me in, good idea as long as it doesn't include James Joyce

Erm, a Book Club tends to be open to anyone that can read and review, so I doubt I have any influence on the entrees, I just want some members. I love to read, and I waste time reading dire things in airports So a heads up would be great. I will repeat...open to all.

Damn, I was hoping he could make sense of it all.

OK Lucy, hows this going to work, do we all read the same book and then say what a load of crap it was, or do we review books were reading ?

We all read a book of our own choice per month, and review it. We also nominate a book which we all read to debate upon and discuss, the monthly book will be by vote from a choice, each nomination from a club member with a brief reason for nomination.. We will then vote. The review of that book will be by the member who originally nominated it.

Again hats off for another good thread!

It doesnt matter what the Genre is, be it Si-Fi to True Crime, as long as you read it and review it in full
Hmmm - try 'The Road to Reality' by Roger Penrose. IMHO a brilliant book but one which may make you want to narrow the genres a bit! (Richard Feymann's book on QED is a fascinating insight into some aspects of quatum mechanics and surprisingly readable ...)

OK here's one to start things off - 'Time's Arrow' by Martin Amis. Utterly brilliant.
