I gave up smoking about 15 yrs ago, was doing 40 to 50 a day, there is no easy way its just willpower, i think
it really has alot to do with ure personality and determination if u suceed or not. Personaly i found the first couple
of weeks easier than the 3rd and 4th weeks because even though the cravings were stronger in the beginning so
was my resolve. I was thrilled when i beat the addiction and now i detest them under no circumstances would i
ever again smoke. So take heart it is very possible to give them up. Remember no pain no gain and any.thing in this
world which is worthwhile acheiving usually demands some sacrfice and pain.
Ps To motivate ureself put the money that u would spend on them in a jar etc
Remember if u smoke 20 a day that is 8.50 x 365 = 3102.50
Now couldnt Sophie have a great holiday or a big shopping spree with 3 grand
So think about that and best of luck
Blatant promotion should be outlawed

Anyone who manages to give up gets my full respect. My Dad has smoked since he was a young boy, starting with woodbines. His life now is pretty dismal. He will hit 70 this year and have spent the last 20 years will ill health, currently surviving after a quadrupple bypass where his chest won't heel as the broken ribs keep getting damaged coughing with emphasima which was also a consequence of smoking. He can't laugh, as it brings on the coughing and he is in constant pain, even having a swollen leg.
He should be enjoying life in retirement, but all he does is keep smoking, feeling there is nothing else for him in life.
