"We met in the pub is there a problem" if they pull a fast one ask them have they got a solicitor which they won't and just tell them to piss off nicely cos it's not against the law

Shirley, I used to be a lot more concerned / nervous about been seen. Maybe I'm being over confident now, but since I'm single if anyone does see me with an escort in public, it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
If you forget the fact that money has been exchanged, and treat it like you are 2 adults meeting together, then what's the problem. So what if the gardai question you. they can't prove money was exchanged, and where does it say that you can't have an escort as a friend.
Thank you all the ladies I had pleasure of meeting. Forever grateful for the memories

Only problem is if it's a Hotel that you are in and they discover other ladies working in the same Hotel, under irish law it's considered a brothel and the lady while she may be independent could find herself being charged for woring in a brothel..
I've thought about this. I'm the sort of person who thinks about everything in advance. Like what to do if you meet someone from work on the way to a punt, which was useful when that did indeed happen to me. So far I haven't been present for a raid, but I'm more or less prepared. There is nothing illegal about paying for sex, but I think it's better not to admit to having done so, for several reasons. If it turns out there are or were other ladies working there I could be called as a witness, which I would prefer to avoid. Also, it could cause immigration issues for the lady, especially but not exclusively if she is from a non-EU country, and how sure are we where any lady is from? So I didn't pay for sex, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. For this to be at least vaguely plausible we need to exchange first names before the guards enter. Surnames would be good as well, if she's willing, but they aren't really necessary. We met in a bar and went back to her place for drinks, and one thing led to another. That's my story. The guards aren't going to believe it, but that's not the point. They can't prove it's not true.
“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.
