Thread: CRB checks and Escorts!!!!!!!

  1. #1

    Default CRB checks and Escorts!!!!!!!

If an Escort gets arrested in a Garda/Police raid and gets released without charge will that arrest show up on her CRB check if she were to apply for a job/position of trust that needed a CRB check to be done?

WOULD JUST LIKE TO ADD THAT IT WOULD BE A TOTAL DISGRACE IF IT DID!

in Ireland it's illegal for a private company to do a background criminal check on a prospective employee, it's up to the employee to disclose this information if they so wish.

A background check is only needed in very specific roles, so stay away from those jobs and you don't have to worry

So what if an Escort went to work with children? No CRB check?

An arrest without charge doesn't show up on a CRB check.

only offences that have gotten a conviction
count as a criminal record, not just an arrest.

Two different countries with two different sets of laws.
We have a constitution, UK doesn't (well, not a proper one).

Still not totally convinced that anyone has accurately answered my question!

I find that rather strange Queenie... An arrest may also be made on suspicion, if that suspicion proves to be false then no record is kept…surely?????
