Hopefully it will entice more people to join or little community

get someone who has never browsed this site before and see if they can make heads or tales of it. I'm telling you it's VERY confusing. If not, I see that you are using Google Analytics on the site, make sure to keep track on the traffic clicking on the banner and the drop off after. It could be designed much better IMO.
1: The banner is floating in the middle of the page, it doesn't fit in with the surrounding site
2: It just has a load of buzz words (I know they are different sections but n00bs won't) scattered all around it in different sizes, fonts and colours. Nothing is explained, how about changing all that with "Get the lowdown on the escorting scene in Ireland, CLICK HERE" - I am not a copywriter so obviously that would have to worked on.
3: There are two different things to click on, main images to the forums parent and then the latest post. Stick to one as you are mixing your message.
4: The timing on the latest post is off, according to it it's "Tue, 31 May 2011 14:04:39 GMT", when on my watch it's 15:53. This looks like there hasn't been a post in nearly two hours so IMO the site/forum is not busy so why join.
5: The word FREE in the banner is pointless, to me it looks like you might get charged for something else at sometime in the future, hey we might even get your credit card details just to age check you. Not on an escorting site you wont!!!
6: Why try and advertise all things to all men, at a guess I'd say that 70-80% of people that visit the site are straight males. Why not push this and try and get them to join first to help build the community, then worry about the other markets such as TS/TV, Fetish, Gay etc.
7: No disrespect to Magic, but I don't think the fact that the management run competitions would get people to join the site. Granted it's a good idea for keeping the existing community active but it won't draw n00bs to the forums.

Or what might attract the average punter viewing the site, would be a simple banner featuring pictures of the ladies who post on the forums with, 'Come chat with us here.'
