I'm not into the idea of things being converted into 3D. They are classics and I think they should be left how they are. It is obviously just a money making gimmick
Have to agree with you there Amber. Still though, it'll be interesting to see how they work out.

I seriously doubt that Titanic would be 100% in 3D. It wasn't shot in sterioscopic at the time only in 2d which is what most films/tv are shot on. So I seriously doubt any scenes other the CGI ones will be in sterioscopic or 3D to the lay man.

I like 3D for certain films but only if the film was originally shot that way like Avatar (which was alright) or JackAss 3D which was easily the best 3D film ever made. Why? Bescause 3D is about the visual, the stunts and the effects and really thats it. Your not going to watch a Mike Leigh film in 3D or indeed any serious drama or comedy as it doesn't add to the experience. 3D is for animation and action only. I went to see DRIVE ANGRY on 3D a couple of months back and it was deadly. It was originally shot in 3D and for a stupid action road movie 3D worked perfectly for it. The best was the scene where Nic Cage is riding a big titted chick in a motel while shooting 5 guys that enter the room from multiple angles, all the while Nic is still shaggin' the chick. Now that was the best 3D sequence so far.

    Good on ya

3rd level education gave up on me in 94.
I then went full time into what had been a hobby but ended up as a career.

i think they are slap happy with the 3d and some movies dont need it..i watched avatar in imax 3d ,cinema 3d,and then 2d outta curiosity and found i saw more in 2d..also with sanctum this movie was good story but there was no need for 3d..thor 3d was crap, also the newer clash of the titans<not a patch on the old one if ya ask me>was also crap 3d effects..
i find my eyes are drawn to only 1 or a few parts of the screen in 3d movies and ya miss the rest..prefer the old cinemascope where ya have to take it all in
its better to burn out than to fade away
