some opinions plz

hi guys ,this morning i got a phone call from a detective in dublin with showing number of 69614,he said he is investigating a case that my phone number is involved, im possible a victum or witness of this case,he said from the record of the phone company shows that i rang a escort last march and she rang me back,and the detective ask me to see him at the garda station asap,i denied him that i used an escort,but he insist that from the phone record,i did rang this girl,and said if im not seeing him ,he will show up at my apt,and wouldnt want my girlfriend know , he does have the address,but he promised me that i wouldnt get in to any troulble which he did repeat few times,

i guess i have to go to the garda station to see him,but i dont know if i should or should not admit that i visited the escort,

does any have had the same or similar experience? any suggestion would be appreciated
