It is a bit like an itch you have to scratch. I am single and could easily meet someone in a bar or nightclub but I find myself using EL more and more, which is not good at one level as I am not working and it is costly. All that having been said I have met some wonderful women, and the sex is only for me an introduction, I get nearly as much fun out of communicating and learning about new people. I am 46 so maybe my drive is lower, certainly my personal circumstances don't help.

i certainly dont get the buzz i once did it does help to try diffrent things sometimes something you would not dream of trying you might just surprise yourself

Yes and meeting wonderful women who deserve praise when its due, been a long time out of the saddle so taking all opportunities to get the practice in.

i agree jc, i often go through binges of seeing the girls, i might see 3-4 girls in 5 days and then not go see another for a month!
aside from finances or meeting a new girl the ''normal'' way i do find that it is a habit/compulsive tho i normally have fun too

There is another thread here where this is discussed. If you are single and find it easy to meet girls, why do you want to visit escorts, particularly when you say the communicating etc is the most enjoyable part for you ?

It is a good question, I guess, and I don't want to turn this into a single thread which already exists, it is an easy way to ensure you have company on a lonely friday or saturday night. But another factor is that I am meeting stunning looking women with great personalities who are full of life and help me stay young (ish)

When you think about it,what sticks out here is what fantastic work these escorts do. Although, we know it is purely a business transaction and that on balance the very same girl would prolly not look at a client sideways in a nightclub,thereby not allowing him to enjoy her personality and thereby not giving him the opportunity to feel 'young' , they still manage at a booking to zone in and make the client feel that good for a period of time whilst giving of herself to him.The suspension of disbelief -- its quite a skill !

I like doodlebug am 46 and single - I visit escorts for a number of reasons -

I like the fact that it is uncomplicated fun, too many girls outside of escorting I meet are nut jobs - I just don't need or want the hassle of the dating game. When I visit an escort what truly makes it memorable is the chat/fun/laughs so perhaps in a way what I am really looking for is a GFE for that moment and none of the stress normally associated with relationships.

I have made a conscious decision to stay single; I don't regret this for one moment so serious dating isn't for me. I have and continue to have short term relationships, admittedly mostly one night stands but as I get older the attraction of these encounters have waned. Also I am no great movie star so the opportunities have lessened and the effort required on my part increased to the point when it too has become a hassle.

I won't lead a girl on by pretending to want a relationship so visiting escorts fills a void in my life.
