    Default Karma...

"What comes around, goes around" so the old saying goes, but who actually believes in Karma? Have you had any experiences that led you to believe that by doing a good turn rewards you at a later point or that being bad has a way of catching up with you?

I am a firm believer that our actions dictate our destiny.

So be careful how you treat others!

The actual word 'Karma' means doing. Therefore, when people say 'It's karma', it means it's your doing.

I believe in it, but not as some form of celestial force. If you do something, it has an effect, and that effect can be either positive or negative, and there are knock on effects that you can understand, but it would be too time consuming to follow through (like chaos theory).

So, to me, Karma is the human (or moral) name for causality, namely cause and effect, which is the only truism of the universe.

I find that karma if it does exist works like this only: If I have a good day there damn sure will be a bad day or two to make up for it.

i guess a part of us wants to grow and learn that
being mean and selfish is not ultimately what the world is all about...
