Argh! It seriously frustrates me how f*cking blind and stupid humans can be. Time to let off a little steam I think, aimed at specific twats (and I can only hope they are reading this):

Neighbours: if you suspect an escort lives in your apartment block, MIND YOUR OWN GOD DAMN BUSINESS! She's trying to make a living for herself! What goes on behind her own doors is her own business, so as long as you ain't being disturbed, stay the f*ck out of it!

The so called 'Protectors of the Peace': why are you wasting your time and our God damn tax money going after independent escorts who choose their line of work out of their own free will, instead of going out there, finding and bringing those responsible for pimping/trafficking girls to justice! Leave the escorts who choose to be escorts alone!

I am not defending the police here , but for them an escort is only independent if they have checked it out for themselfs , posting a note on E-I : "I am an idependent escort" , does not mean its true !
They have been around Belfast for some weeks now , calling up escorts and if they thought something is iffy , they checked it . Fair enough there is one that blew the wistle on an escort-exporter !
They are checking for illegals as well ( brazilians working with fake portugese ID cards for instance ) .
Another thing they look at , is more then one girl working from a flat ( we all agree its a stupid law ) , it is considered illegal , but we usually get away with a warning .
So its not to harasse escorts , they are doing theyr job ( catching pimps a.s.o.) !

In fairness that said block of apts would have a notorious reputation, there have been agencies run by undesirables working
from there on and off for years. They have been raided many times by the Gardai over the years . While the actuals apts are
pretty basic and average the common areas are fairly grotty, all in all not a very pleasant place and one i really wouldnt go
to again

Realistically though ladies man, loads of so called "independent escorts" have pimps so i dont think things are half as clear cut as people think. The established escorts on here are obviously indies, but every time a new 21 yr old appears on the scence with pics taken on a bed, how often are those girls here independently?

Its true, I had been warned by clients not to go to that block of apartments as they have been raided in the past and building is full of drugs and undesirables. More than likly cops just doing there job. Its not like she was arrested or anything...

It’s F..kng priceless, one of there own half kills a guy, gets 18th months, spends 1 night in prison and is released, and then they go charging in on a solitary girl with the sole purpose of scaring the be Jesus of her. What a fecking country. As for the nosey neighbours, best ignore as the more you try to engage the worse they get. However some of the profiles I see of girls in bedrooms etc only always raise a question for me also re their status.

If they raid places where pimps are controlling girls in any shape way or form, brilliant! Then hopefully those girls can get help and move on with their lives. I'm with you, even on here I'm skeptical sometimes if a certain escort is truly independent or not. But I have heard many times of cops raiding places of genuine independent girls, which is what I was referring to.
