I thought it was exceptionally offensive. It was directed at a forum member. I thought it disgraceful, I was surprised no one had commented on it before I did.

The lady was highlighting guys were giving out about her not replying to PM's and she was explainging the fact she and other ladies priorities Booking PM's, she mentioned 1 guy called her an English C*** (thats the offensive bit, I understand that much) for not replying to his PM, now along comes Dom to use a play on words that maybe he wanted to shove something up her ( I won't repeat it, don't want an infraction ) and it was a booking PM after all, now can you explain which bit was exceptionally offensive, the guy that orginally said it or DOM trying to make a bad situation a little lighthearted, o no, don't tell me, it was the word English, wasn't it, dom must be a racist

Can we either just un ban him or forget about this?

I found what he said to be offensive. But I said nothing as I wasn't sure if that was me being too pc or whatever. If a majority feels that he wasn't deserving of a ban- then unban him. I can handle a few comments even if I don't appreciate them.

I read the post at the time and although I believed it was made in jest,
it was nonetheless very crude and could and did cause offence.

However what I believe caused more concern was the way he reacted to fellow posters who commented on his post.
If he thought about it and apologised, I'm sure it would have been passed over, and everything forgiven.
However his response to JamesCork for one, was uncalled for and for me this was the nail in the coffin.

It's only a week's ban, which I believe is fair in this instance.
Certainly I don't think a permanent bann is called for, nor should one be implemented.

We all at times make mistakes, I more than most, so can understand what happens when mistakes are made.
I believe dom is a good guy at heart, but we must take responsibility for our actions and any errors we make.
As said before, it is only a short ban, so not the end of the world!

He said "maybe he just wanted to stick something up your English cunt. Could have been a booking after all". If that was a joke then it was a pretty bloody bad one.

No one reported it. I found it offesnive and derigatory to women in general
We can all have a laugh , no problem but that goes beyond a bit of fun
His subsequent actions led him to a weeks ban

Amber, don't get me wrong, the whole situation was wrong but it started with the prick that called you what he did but it would seem DOM got the stick for it, I can see why you would be pissed but looking impartially it was a bit of light hearted banter but I don't think he was banned for it, more because of subsequent exchanges..

I think it was a very badly worded joke- but can you ban a man for not being a very good comedien? I don't know.

You dont have to apologise for being offended, Dom can be a prick, he knows it too. However when I read this thread it sounded like he launched a attack. Believe it or not, he was probably trying to flirt with you. I am not discounting your feelings, I am trying to explain another side is all
