Here was a Golfer who informed and inspired a whole generation, his singular style and dedication to his sport stands out and took European Golf into a bright new dawn, showing all that it was indeed possible with the right approach and application to achieve the highest standards that we now see in our European Players. Goodbye... to a really great Golfer and a sincerley Modest Gentleman. He will be sadly missed not only by the Golfing Fraternity but by all who ever saw him Play or heard him Speak.
Requiescat in Pace, Seve...

The news we all knew was coming and hoped it woundnt, very sad, I remember in the 80s at the Irish Open, walking with his round,Your the Maaannnn Seve.R.I.P.
1st time I saw Seve was in Druids Glen- It was all misty and Seve had hit an appalling shot - just then through the mist I saw Seve standing on the Ladies tee box ( that is how far his drive had gotton to) - this was then followed by 3 wood to within 4 feet - awesome
Sleep well friend
Holy shit, this is the first I've heard of it!! RIP Seve!
