Went to HD DVD attached to my 360 - about as good a choice as going Betamax instead of VHS!!

Not far wrong, the house is full of "useful and timesaving" equipment!

Always a gadget and tech freak, but fed up with buying the latest tech all the time. You're not wrong on the hoarding part, think I could open my own Peats at this rate, althouh Ebay is a great palce to earn some cash for old tech - the amount of old PC parts I've sold as I upgraded is ridiculous.

Happy enough with mosy of the gadgets I have now, can't be bothered with the hassle of new bits; saying that as soon as 3D tv is sorted and working smoothly I'll have one on the wall!!

i've studied software design, so i'm not a tecnophobe.
i find that people who are fascinated by tech are also into
sci-fi movies, and maybe want the real world to catch up.

when i was a kid, my mum brought home a lovely orange 12in b&w telly.
that telly entertained us for a whole decade. TV was better then IMO.
today, Currys are always pushing these big, flat tellies-what for?
TV is shit today. for me its always about content.

Have to agree there. Sony gear is hard to beat. Got a Sony laptop, TV, stereo and surround sound system & never had any problems with any of it.

No modern technology can whoop this bad boy, such a legend.

As for my favourite modern tech, I'm gonna go with viagra. Hey technology makes drugs therefore that makes it valid-ish! Meh I don't care...

I try not to think about the modern Sonic games and to just remember the classics.

Anybody remember the old Spectrum 48k? The good old days of blue rubber keys and loading games with a seperate cassette player. Cables everywhere from joystick, cassette player & tv screen. Great fun!
