I think its a good thing that Osama Bin Laden is dead. I can also understand why the Americans want to publisize it and celebrate - very strong political statement locally.

However, I doubt if it will make a tap of a difference to Islamist Terrorist activity. Apparently Osama Bin Laden hasn't been in charge for years.

I do expect repercussions from these fanatic terrorists. I suspect it will galvanize them over the coming months.

I don't think Bin Laden's death will make much of a difference in curtaling future terrorist attack s(there's big money in terrorism) , but it's a morale booster for militayr personnel.

The amount of money Republican backed defence contractors have made over in Iraq and Afganistan is obscene; there's no way the Republican wil give up such a 'nice little earner'; they want to cut spending in health for the elderly, entitlement programs ike social security and education instead of having cuts in defence spending, its like paying for security against your own securit forces.

I doubt that the death of Osama Bin Laden will decrease the attacks by Al Queda. The fundamental issues are still there that are causing the conflicts.

Now, I have it from reliable sources within the American intelligence groups that there is a sharp increase in internet traffic about Bin Laden's death, especially from a particular networking site used in Ireland. I would lay low.

OMG, Fox News is beyond 'vile,' creepy is more like it; watched a documentrary about Fox News-it shouldn't be allowed to call itself 'News'. Definitely has a major negative effect on politics in America as well as how news is presented throughout mainstream media groups in American in general, I think the federal government needs to seriously consider pulling the plug on Fox News group even if it means obstructed its constitutiooal right to freedom of speech- As far as I'm concerned anyone's rights should be taken away when it poses as a threath to America by undermining democratic rights in America. Fox News is a 'Terrorist' News organization backed by the real evil empire

In reference to the killings of milions of Iinnocent people you have to remember as for as the military i s concerned the end justifies the means, and the 'means' means-MONEY

The issue runs deeper than just Fox news - America acts like it has a worldwide mandate to decide what is right - who the hell appointed them as the moral/policing authority for the world. They carry out acts of terrorism, ignore the Geneva Convention and use their military power to impose their will. Not for one moment do I think we live in a perfect world but what really pisses me off is that the Americans think that they have the right to decide what is right for the rest of us.
