Yeah, I never wanted to go down the medication route, so I tried the counselling first of all. For me, it didn't work too well - possibly down tot he particular counsellor. Not to say it won't work for everyone else, of course. Now, the meds take the edge off the swings, but I do other things, like excercise as Rayden mentions, to help out. It makes a surprising amount of difference. Visiting the lovely ladies from here combines excercise and joy to round it all off
Also, the sleep thing: that would help, to get the right amount of sleep, but I find it hard to get over to sleep - generally about 3am before I can drop off, and when I'm in bed, it's hard to get myself up. I guess it's the one thing that I'm not able to improve in this whole scenario.
