or just how the client perceived how the appointment evolved?

What struck me today was a graphic review of one reviewer who stated that the escort
    'takes it up the ass'!

So when we 'clients' review, how do/should we review?
Should we do so for ourselves, for the 'client community',
or for the community as a whole, involving both escort and client?

Perhaps not a debate for a Saturday night,
but just interested on the communities perception.

Good thread Mark, as always (regardless of the fact its a Saturday nite!).

I have pondered this issue myself. I always write a review after seeing a girl because I believe in the review system, flawed as it is.

Obviously I can only write from my own perspective and opinion. The E-I review system does allow for an escort to reply/ comment on a review made about her - which I think adds some balance to the system.

I try to be both honest and complimentary in my reviews. I have been immensely helped by the reviews left by other reviwers - so try to do the same.

For objectivity I tend to review under the follwing headings - 1) Physical appearance 2) Personality 3) Professionalism 4) Service 5) Location/aparatment. It sounds very clinical but these are the things that I actually look for in the reviews of others in order to help me decide which lady to see next.

I agree with the others - that there is no call for crude remarks. However, Pablo makes a fair point in his comment above. If the review completely skims over services then it doesn't really give a potential customer an idea of what sevices are really provided and what a said lady excels in. (I have found the services listed boxes not always reliable).

At the end of the day this is about sex. Of course the overall experience is all important but the one common theme of every encounter is sex. And therefore I dont' think reviews that are completely devoid of any sexual connotations are helpful.

However, I do think it is at the disgression of each reviewer how one decides to review and everyone has a different style. The Highwayman does read the reviews before posted - so this should control / prevent overly crude reviews.

Thanks for noticing Mellors, my good man. Was overseas for work so I didn't really have the chance to log on to E-I for two weeks! I'm sure I'll make up for it now!

As for pen and paper - what do you take me for!! This is the 21st century - its the secret cam recorder that I have in my belt buckle that helps me keep notes. Just don't tell the ladies!!

Ther probably should be available by default some kind of template. It might make more punters review also. Sometimes people are daunted by a blank page.

Much of the basic details that one needs confirmed are covered by the fixed-form inputs provided, i.e., the drop-down menus cover accuracy of photos, quality of location, etc. There is little point really in repeating all that again in text.

Any review is an evaluation of an experience, that's what it means in this context. So yes, it should be the reviewer's feelings about the reviewer's experience. So the real answer to "what makes a good review" is "a good reviewer" - a review is a subjective expression of opinion, as with all opinion only informed opinion is ever worth reading.

Of course vulgar crass details and insulting degrading language should never be tolerated or published. An ignorant misogynistic bastard is never going to have anything useful or worthwhile to say. This is one interesting aspect of the review system: the worst kind of pricks reveal themselves there by what they say.

So in my opinion we should aim to write the type of review that we want to read. A review should tell the reader whether the escort is a real professional offering a service that is worth experiencing and offer some insight into why the reviewer feels the way they do about their experience.

    Good idea.

Currently there are two options: reviews off or on. I've always thought that there should be a third option: reviews off, on but fixed-form only, full review on with free-form input. That way escorts who dislike the idea of random guys writing uncontrolled things about them can still have the benefits of reviews without the embarrassment.

I personally hate brief reviews. I mean what is the point in saying ‘Nice girl, Will return’…. Hello… there is no information in this. I like to touch on certain factors in my reviews without describing in detail what happened. Then again I am conscious that what’s important to one man is not important to others. I am also very conscious also that just because a girl doesn’t rock my boat, to try to consider that that maybe my personal taste and try to review to the masses.

    My checklist….

    1. First impressions:…are vital for me. That first viewing when she appears from behind the opened door. Her first greeting/ welcoming gesture.

    2. Is it the girl in the pics:… and how close are they. Because we are initially attracted to the pictures it is soo important to let the public know how close we are to the profile both in body and age.

    3. Services provided: I am not possibly the best here as my requirements are basic, oral and straight sex. But I will try to convey in a manner that mirrors my experience without mentioning whether she ‘takes it up he ass’.

    4. Personality: Is she sexy? Is she cold/distant? Is she a good craic. Personality can make or break a visit…

    5. Conclude: Finally, how did I feel the visit went? Was I happy or disappointed?

Sometimes I get carried away and may harp on a bit, but when I read others that do this too I can sometimes find it helpful…

    That’s it really…lol.

I agree with everything that was said above, there is no need for graphic description and vulgarity, however, most clients visit escorts to get something special they cannot get elsewhere(home...)and it is important for them to know if advertised services and favourites are really available or not.
I have to admit that up until I see a particular favourite is received by a reviewer,I tend to ignore it in the escort favourite list, and I simply discard all reviews without specifics.

Well said J.C. Which is why you are a TR, and your reviews actually help other clients in deciding which escort to see.
