I loved NOFX's cover of Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac - fave lyric? "If I could, baby I'd give you my socks"

I absolutely love The Uplift Mofo Party Plan, Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik, but I always thought the Chili Peppers were a woeful live band despite their talents. They always played second fiddle to Faith No More for me - they were big rivals for a while before the Chilis became mega successful. Years later, Mike Patton of Faith No More was touring with his other band Mr. Bungle - and the Chilis had them kicked off a festival bill, just to show how powerful they were. This is how Mr. Bungle responded at a later show -

Saw RHCP in 1988 in the Camden Palace (I think thats what it was called) in 1988. I'd never heard of them before and there was about 200 people in the building. I've liked them ever since.

The Ramones - Because they are brilliant and have influenced so many other bands and artists.

Green Day - Loved them from the start. Such a magnificent change from the cheezy '80s and the emerging Rap crap and acid dance shoite.

The Golden Horde - Dublin band that I loved in my teens and still do now. Oh the memories of diving off stages in er.......dives.

The Cramps - Flthy, dirty phsycadellic surf punk gods (and goddesses).

The Monkees - Far better than the Beatles.
