    Yeah - good choices re the bourne trilogy and godfather series - watching layer cake the other night and think its the best of the brit ganster movies.Obviously,Shawshank has to be up there.Best Tony Scott film for me is still Crimson Tide .Gene Hackman was his usual brilliant self in it - Goodfellas still stands the test of time.Comedywise,There's something about Mary and Kingpin are brilliant .Throw in LA Confidential and that's a good wekend of viewing.

    Glengarry Glenross

    Brilliant dialog from start to finish by a brilliant writer, David Mamet with a brilliant cast;

    Al pacino, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris, jack Lemmon, Kevin spacey..

    i LOVE every minute of that film.

    Big lebowski,Blade Runner,Total Recall,Alien,Aliens,Better off Dead,The Goonies,Ferris Buellers day off,Minority report....there are a load of scifi movies based on Philip K Dick novels...loads more movies that i like which i cant think of at the moment...heres a great scene from the Big Lebowski..great tune as well..

    Kelly`s Heroes , 1970 classic war film with a difference , starring Clint Eastwood,Telly Savalas and the marvelous Donald Sutherland as the so cool character , "Oddball".

    unforgiven....why?...clint,like most of his work (even the one where he was an injured soldier in a girls school)
    the bourne trilogy brill
    silence of the lambs....scary/clever superb acting
    jack lemmon and walter matthau ,odd couple ,and the newspaper one/lve billy wilder movies
    gladiator
    fried green tomatoes
    le diner de cons..french comedies superb
