if trusted reviewers are abusing the system then i think it should be abolished.

3 references is not enough to deem a reviewer trustworthy

i think it should be at least 50% of your overall review count

as your review count goes up so should the no of references needed

to retain the trusted reviewer status

But in all areas of life you will have bad mixed in with the good, and of course the bad will get the most notice, because let's be honest a plane crash killing 100 people makes for better headlines. Thus is the case with the very few bad TR here. I suggest instead of getting rid of the system all together, I mean some men have shagged half of UN to get to this point, and all that hard-ahem-work, shouldn't go to waste. Why not change it so it is like the popularity bar under our profiles? Instead of Trusted Reviewer, some people take this WAY too serious and feel they have to adhere to certain international standards of shagging. Why not make it a bit more fun? The guys earn points as they leave reviews. The reviews are still relevant, but if someone puts up a fake review, or a ratted review, it will subtract from their punter rep/street cred/shaggability, whatever you want to call it. As it stands now even ratted reviews and those damn annoying N/A reports are counted towards the over all total of the TR/reviewer scorecard.
Reviews do serve a purpose to inform other punters of what is out there. With the implementation of something like this, everyone would have a rating, from Mr. Fussy, to the newest newbie on the block. What do you guys think?
excellent !! a reward system! or a tesco clubcard points sgheme!! i must look for an international shagging benchmark

Jaysus, guys & dolls will ye stop harping on about abuse. My findings are that it is minimal, and very minimal. Most escorts here posting will admit that their expereince of TRs, is for them to be utter gentleman. we are unecessarily blinding a good bebate with hearsay.. I intend to start a new thread in the future on abuse by TRs and known posters, cos it aont only TRs doin it, so lets leave it till then...please.

ahh come on James, how can you have findings that are anyway comprehensive? You can't know what all TR's may get up to, You don't really think escorts are going to tell you what may have been suggested or outright demanded of them by a TR do you?

Have you spoken to every escort who has knowingly meet a TR? You can't so you cannot put a percentage on it so therefore no one knows what abuse levels of TR status may or may not be going on.

Point taken QPH. No I haven't spoken to all, and I dare say neither have you. But I still feel the level of abuse is minimal rather than rampant. Do you share this view?

I don't know tbh James, I dare say human nature being what it is that abuse is happening, if a few well known escorts are saying that then thats enough for me. I don't deal in feelings on this site I deal in facts and you or me or anyone but the TR's that are miss using status, the escorts so abused (and it is abuse btw to anyone doing it or contemplating it) and E-I if they are contacted privately can know.

I would not throw out TR system, but it does need an overhaul, I think the idea mentioned about client not knowing he has one and it being invisable and only E-I and mods knowing what escorts gave it would be a great option,

Maybe a two tier system, clients click a box as to who they trust but all can see that and escorts do so and only E-I can see it but all other escorts can see how many paying advertisers gave a thumbs up but no names showing. Something like that.

When boys have a toy, they use it, and not always as first intended. does that mean the toy box is locked forever? no and TR concept has its uses but needs to change from what it is.
