Seriously tho.. It doesnt take an Einstein to see that some reviewers are flagged and others are not. If thats the case why not put a legend up stating.... Badge = TR.
Thats fine.... But I'll ask again. What makes a TR more trustworthy to the average joe who doesnt post here. They see the badge and think "What makes him so trustworthy?" They cant know the process one goes through to get the badge. To me that badge would mean ziltch.

Take away the potential for abuse and the "Golden Circle" syndrome and I think is an invaluable tool for the 90% of potential clients out there looking for recommendation on an escort.
I see your point but to me even one case of abuse of the badge by taking advantage of or making a false report about an escort or whatever is enough to scap the system.

By all means work on developing a better alternative as has been suggested, but if the current system is facilitating abuse (of the system and escorts) then it should be withdrawn straight away while the new system is worked on.

They will just have to initially trust that the managers of the site state thate these reviews are vetted and deemed trustworthy. soon a repeat punter will start to get the picture and use them better. But having said that you dont HAVE to use them either. This site has the best review system on the planet (eeek I think), its just another tool to help the average John.

Wouldnt you like to participate in helping the average John, Ray?

I think for some prolific reviewers that it is a notches on the bedpost exercise (not neccassarily referring to TR's with that comment).

I would of course, but as I said earlier the current TR system doesnt work. It needs radical change as in the change you proposed. But the management have made it clear that it will not bring in those changes, so I say just scrap it.

I've read through both this and the last TR thread and there's a lot of good ideas and although this probably isn't the place or time to post it, i have a suggestion for an alternative..

As far as I can see, the two main arguments put forward for keeping the TR system are:
    1. Joe soap knows he can rely on reviewers A, B and C
    2. So that escorts know they're dealing with someone trustworthy.

    Soooooo i'd propose two things...

The first is for the client (and this has been suggested before) Give them the option to anonymously add certain reviewers to their "favourites" so when they click on a certain lady's list of reviews they see a badge next to any reviewer they've previously added. Any registered user would be able add others who think the same way or who've had similar experiences with particular escorts and add them for future reference. It'd also help in so far as they'd likely be adding reviewers generally specific to their county, making their TRs more relevant. Their personal TR's wouldn't be visible to anyone but themselves so it'd remove any sort of stigma or elevated status that many say exists within the the current TR format.
When i started reading reviews it took barely any time to start recognising the names of reviewers that felt more genuine so i think it could work.

The second part would be for escorts. If an escort felt a guy was decent and punctual etc she could add him to Trusted Clients which would be visible to her. If that particular client/reviewer got say, 5 or 10 different approvals from escorts a badge would then become visible to all escorts and only escorts. NO details about the client, just a badge of trustworthiness for the benefit and quick reference of escorts - and the client would be completely oblivious if he had one or not. And if possible, escorts would be able to view which of their collegues deemed him Trustworthy which would create accountability.

James, how can EI vet a client? Are they to run a full mental health screen and get the drivers license?

Honestly I would assume they were shills for the website to increase business for escorts and as a result more ad €€€ for EI. (If I didnt post here and was just a client.)
