Should the Trusted Review status be abolished?

I've said it before & I'll say it again - the TR thing is dangerously stupid & the only thing to do is get rid of it.

In my opinion it serves no positive purpose.

All it does is add to the stress and pressure under which escorts have to work and therefore is totally wrong and against the spirit & ethos of the "EI community" as I understand it (or, at least, as I perceive most of us who post here claim that they would like it to be).

At the very least it should be removed for a trial period (say six months or a year) to see if the sky falls down?

What we really need is a useful recommendation system with weighting & feedback: if users were able to mark reviews that they read as "useful" (e.g., one to five a la Amazon), and the extent to which each user's evaluation of a review was itself a function of how highly scored that user's own reviews are, what would emerge is community driven recognition of good reviewers and good reviews.

The TR system is at best lazy & naive, at worst willfully malicious.

I know it is only one or two, maybe three abusing the system but if the system facilitates any sort of abuse against escorts then it has to be scrapped.

Guys ... lets not run away with ourselves here.. We are putting too much weight on the abuse issue... From what I know (Lucy tells me EVERYTHING...lol) the abuse is not THAT rampant. Just one or two individuls. But the TR systems is not just for us. In fact it is of less use to us, as we know everyone here, as it is to Joe Soap. Take away the potential for abuse and the "Golden Circle" syndrome and I think is an invaluable tool for the 90% of potential clients out there looking for recommendation on an escort.

If I didnt post here and was reading through reviews and saw one from a TR I would have no idea what makes him so trustworthy.

Seriously tho.. It doesnt take an Einstein to see that some reviewers are flagged and others are not. If thats the case why not put a legend up stating.... Badge = TR.
