Honestly. The amount of busniess I get from using the boards is not my motivator for being here. I'm wondering what is to be honest? The occasional crap post I can handle but when it comes to not feeling safe to write a warning as you don't know who's real or not. Thats madness

Please allow me to make a statement here people...

Firstly, please do not feel niave for tonight's sudden revelation. The first stage of this came through E-I and who was to know. In this particular case, there was a VERY convincing photo verification (which was clearly doctored on a professional level), and now this has come to light, we have taken neccessary action. I have to point out that her pictures have been unverified for two days as Nicole and I felt something didn't sit right here, and it was strange that she didn't contact the offce today to complain about this.

If I'm being completely honest, mods picked up on the fact that something didn't sit right, so Nicole and I ran some checks, etc. and I even called 'Ciara' to see if she had a French accent. All seemed to check out and we couldn't prove anything. I had to tell the mods that although there's something fishy here, we can't put our fingers on it, so it proved that they were right in this case. It only took Alicia to slip up here to confirm our suspicions.

I know that posters on the forums can only see the superficial aspects of our roles here on E-I, but while all the banter and PM's are going on, we are flicking from tab to tab checking in and discussing details behind the scenes. We recieve stacks of things to look into be it fake photo reports, suspicious reviews, escort saftey issues, advertising discussions and so on, and, you know, we don't always get things first time round. The mods do an excellent job here (contrary to popular belief) and we also have to thank you guys, the posters, for also helping with reporting details (no matter how minor) to us. It really puts emphasis on the term 'Escort Community' and this is what we are.

I can only apologise for not picking up on this sooner people, but you know, nobody's infallible, and we will take action as soon as we know what the craic is.

Seems a lot more serious than this. If the girls pass on confidential info to a newly advertised escort to help her and this ends up in the wrong hands because the new escort is not a real independent then the ramifications to safety could be very serious. Even as a directory, surely the organisation could take measures to ensure that only bona fide indies and agencies get to advertise in the first place ?

If the girls pass on confidential info to a newly advertised escort to help her and this ends up in the wrong hands because the new escort is not a real independent then the ramifications to safety could be very serious. Even as a directory, surely the organisation could take measures to ensure that only bona fide indies and agencies get to advertise in the first place ?

To be honest Steve, aside from telling people not to talk to anyone else, I don't see what other precautions we can take at the moment. There's always going to be people sharing information. We implement the means to provide this information, however, we cannot always be held liable if that is shared.
