Friends ?

Today I was lucky enough to have a lengthy phone conversation with someone that I met through this site that regard as an absolute true friend, someone that I would go out of my way to assist and I believe would return the favour with out question. But our conversation did lead me into deep thought about all the other friends that I thought I'd made on here that have retired or emigrated or whatever. People like Heidi & VV amongst others that promised to to keep in touch and just broke my heart and their promises instead. So i ask you this, How many of you have actually made a real friend through here ? Have any of you found a true shoulder to cry on or a confidant that you trust or happily love ?

Can't say that I have made any friends by your definition. There's one I'd like to be friends with, but I know that they're not here forever, so it's unlikely. I've kept myself to myself mostly - the only other punter I've ever exchanged PMs with was Milfhunter and he's gone. I've been told more than once by ladies that I'm 'nice' but I sometimes wonder what that means in this game. Sometimes I think they're just relieved that I try to treat them like a human being and not like a "piece of meat", as one young lady said to me. I just can't see many of the ladies being interested in staying in contact with former clients. As for other punters, I'd say there is a much greater chance of friendships forming, but I for one would be very wary of it.

I can see how you can build up acquaintances on a forum but actual friends eventough you haven't met or escorts that you have to pay to meet in the flesh, I dunno, not for me so I don't even try..

I have made acquaintances, and hopefully friends. I think that the friendship bit is as much about the giving as the recieving. There are people on here who I would help out at the drop of a hat, in my book that makes them friends. They may not consider me the same way but hey, nothing is equal in this world. If I remain in contact with any of them when they or I leave this emerald isle is another question indeed.
