One thing E-I could do btw and it can't be beyond the bounds of possibility and would do much as I have raised here and stay inside copyright parameters is for the thumbnail system to use the first profile pic on any review as its thumb and not what the escort places as her thumb or even better take a random choice of any of the 6 or less that get placed on a profile.

If system did that at the time a review is placed this would hugely improve things as thumbnail is actually causing more confusion then solving it.

Do you know for example that one thumbnail attached to a review I saw was a Caucasian Lady but at the time the reviewer wrote the review the profile pics were of an Asian Lady?

So that escort has two reviews, both saying happy with pics and someone looking at thumbs sees same person but I saw two different races on the profile.

If system took a pic from the at the time live profile then this would be shown to all.

It would be as close to my idea as possible without contravening stated legal issues or escorts personal preferences seeing as a thumb is done now anyway but its next to useless when its not taken from profile at the time of review for the example I just explained which is not uncommon.

Will E-I consider that? Or do I have to do this all on my own?

Heres one example of the value to a customer of seeing what a profile looked like over time and its just one I could keep posting more till my keyboard melted.

The above escort went live the other day after being inactive for at least the 10 months I have been monitoring profiles and a big green tick for verified pics but the previous pics that I data mined by various means to which no one knows till now are not the same person.

But aren't you forgetting that these photos/details are copyright the escorts? We don't have the right to display a copy of their profile longer than they want us to (Thus we couldn't host these images) and nor does anyone else (So, technically, they could be taken down by the free image host used if any escort made a complaint). I also think most reviewers just wouldn't go to this effort. The way to do it, if we wanted this idea to work, would be for E-I to host the screenshots and have them automatically taken, but E-I could never do this for the obvious legal reason that these screenshots are not legal copyright wise.

I don't think that this is correct. My understanding is that E-I is hosted in a location with an explicit "fair use" clause in its copyright legislation and that excerpts for the purpose of review and comment are specifically permitted. I cannot imagine that a screen shot at reduced resolution included in a review could be considered not to be fair use.

Fair nuff, I apologize... but when the owner says that a way of solving a big problem is OTT when you must know how bad that problem is then I react in that way and see it (wrongly or rightly) as undermining, my original idea is not a runner and is what you said was OTT, I accept that but I think a small tweak of the review thumbs would pay massive dividends. Do you call that small tweak OTT or can it be looked into as a way to lift the mist?
