Good post Willy Up, your post rings a few bells with my past, I too have been attacked by a girlfriend with a kitchen knife, stalked and had a girl throw herself out of a moving car (apparently to stop me splitting up with her), and the same as you not because i'm some kind of shit.
However, with age I think you begin to be a lot more selective about relationships rather than closing it off completely.
In the mean time there are the beautiful women on here (mind I haven't met LC yet)
