yep, the spanish didn't manage to kill them all off. There are estimated to be about 7 million of them still alive today. Most of these aren't actually authentic Mayans but other sub-cultures of ancient central american civilizations. Some of their ancient languages are still used today but I reckon it's pretty much as widely used as Irish

do ya no the way in ancient times the predicted that the world is going to end in 2012. well ill be damned what if they were true. last year there was the hati earthquake and the volcanoe in iceland. and in 2011 there was the new zeland earthquake and just a week after new zeland japan was hit and thats just the first 3 months into 2011. what diaster is next. just have a little think about it.. its weird tho init ..

prediction is true with so many do not know what to think if it comes or not the end of the world but the only thing that intrigues me a bit is that i studied a little google and i saw that actually reverses the poles in 2012 i first thought but the way as the climate changed suddenly and rare calamities give honest thought

Wonderful.......so Ruhama and their lot will all go up to heaven and the rest of us will remain down here to enjoy ourselves.

I don't really go in for all this hocus pocus, but just in case, I'm going to keep my options open. I will go for a final punt on 20.12.2012 and in the event that the world does'nt end on 21.12.2012, I'll be out again for a celebratory punt on 22.12.2012.
