Exactly, and I hope for a first visit that it assures the lady that I'm serious and not going to mess her around.

I'm very guilty of that Fiona, I get a problem just opening the main door or gate. So I won't do that phone thing anymore, I'll be inconspicuous.

    Once a prick - always a prick.

If I see someone at a gate/door with a mobile phone to his ear I don't automatically assume he's going to see an escort.
Points taken above - sure this happens in ordinary day to day life when visiting someone. I think the issue is the volume of visits. It does look susicious if there are 3-4 new visitors a day, all men, looking slightly confused /nervous, speaking in whispers on the phone.

When we find a nice discreet apartment we want to keep it and lads roaming around looking lost with fones to their ears can mess things right up for us.
Take a breath be calm and listen to the directions given. Sit in your car and even write them down, go over them with the lady until you feel you know exactly where your going.

I'm a bit worried with my new location because i've had a few lads come to the door with fones at their ears asking the obvious questions even though i've asked them not to. My place is easy peasy to find and get into and its quite small and quiet... i dont know why people have any trouble with finding and getting into it.

It's just a wee request and also for you guys to realize how important it is so we can keep our good locations.

Start with a landmark, specify which way we should be facing when we start and take it from there.

Then try the directions out for yourself, realise how crap they were even though you thought they were foolproof and start again.

Seriously a text with directions and buzzer instructions, floor and apartment number are a good idea. And u don't need to send it until the client rings from the landmark.

    Xx
I've been there. Walking around like a tool with the phone on my ear - and been given out to as a result! (And rightly so, although that usually puts a damper on the encounter. No man likes to be scolded , it feels like he's talking to his mammy then!)

I agree totally with Brunos points above. It so important to state which way to face at the landmark, otherwise directions are arbitary.

Secondly - I've found txted directions to be always the best. I mean the road name and a landmark (not the full address). Once a guy reaches the agreed destination a txt with apt number and codes is helpful. With regards to security the guy is already there and thats what you're going to give him anyway. I always have a nervous excitement at any new visit, and somehow seeing the codes/ apt number /floor in txt is far easier for me to remember and get right, rather than trying to remember it from the conversation on the phone.
