I have a friends that live in Sendai and cant raise them. I also have a friend in Tokyo and they are safe. Fairly heavy shockwaves felt in Tokyo city but only a few reported deaths so far. Frightening times and I hope your sister is safe mate!!
Just watched some of the footage and its terrifying. I do hope and pray there are not too many casulaties, but from what I have seen i fear the worst for allot of people. Its such a terrible and tragic thing to happen. My thoughts go out to everyone x
its scary shit.. between huge floods in Oz, earthquakes in NZ and Japan, you would wonder whats going to happen down there next.
I'm a well hung chap, hung like a bastard says i.
I'm just watching this on the news now. The damage is devastating and I can't imagine what everyone is going through. The point has also been made that the tsunami is overshadowing the actual earthquake that caused the incident in the first place (8.9 on the scale; that's massive). The actual after shocks would also be significant recorded earthquakes. Other places that will be affected will be the West coast of America, Australia and New Zealand.
It's disasters like this that take years to rebuild, but for many, many people, things will never be the same again My heart goes out to them
