    Default crime books

    Hi,
I would like to get a recommendation asap pls. I'm looking for a crime book, which is easy to read. This will be for a non-English speaker, so she can improve her English. So pls try to bear that in mind, that it is mostly in Layman's terms.

Oh and I have 2 days to buy it.... so something which is widely available.

    Thx in advance.

I like Michael Connelly books. They feature a detective, Harry(Hieronymous) Bosch, but the terminology is fairly easy to understand.
Thankfully, not too many big complicated words, or I wouldn't be reading them

Another Connolly, John Connolly - The Whisperer isn't bad, Stig Larrson - Girl with the dragon tattoo (might be a bit difficult) any of the later Ian Rankin - Rebus books might be ok

Hi Prettywoman, I would suggest "The Butchers Theatre" by Jonathan Kellerman, really fantastic crime thriller and its got a great plot and that but I'm sure the language would be easy enough to understand (its set in Israel too!!!)
