The stigma attached to those women needs to begone they are human beings who deserve to choose their own personal relationships with other consenting adults and without interference from third parties.

Ok. let me get this straight. Is this "turn off the red light" campaign against human trafficking or prostitution overall? If the later, then it's totally messed up. It's throwing the baby out with the bathwater. From my admittedly limited experience of the trade, both parties get a lot out of it. We all know that the client gets a lot of physical and emotional benefit and hopefully, the escort gets some of that too along with the financial award that they earn.
