    in Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia,Bulgaria,Italy celebrate Women's Day, the 8th of March. It's a national holiday, a day off, all the men present women flowers, candies etc. The thing is that we studied at a school that it's an international holiday

    I'm not holding my breath to receive any greetings or presents for the ocassion though, Irish men wouldn't care too much about this day. But it's fine, this is not like a real celebration anyway and seeing the day has also some religious conotations, I'll be happy just to have a regular working day.
